The Essex Handicrafts Association is a registered charity and we have approximately 300 members throughout Essex and its adjoining counties. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in crafts including needlework of any variety or 'hard' crafts such as silversmithing, woodturning.

The aim of the Association is to promote education in arts and crafts in Essex and adjoining counties, particularly in organising classes, day schools, demonstrations and exhibitions.
